BIOGRAPHIES (From left to right in the picture):
Rosie Vallese
Rosie Vallese is a singer, songwriter, arranger and a long-standing member of The Accidentals. By day, she teaches Special Education in a New Jersey middle school. But by night and on weekends, she sings her heart out! It’s a crazy double life- but she loves it! Rosie has been a featured artist in theaters and clubs, and regularly performs her solo show at senior residences in the New York metropolitan area. The Accidentals’ recording of her arrangement of “The More I See You” has been a favorite on Jonathan Schwarz’s National Public Radio and XM Satellite Radio show. Life is good.
Jim Vincent
Jim Vincent is widely known and respected as a singer, composer and arranger, and as a founding member of the award-winning a cappella group The Accidentals. His unique arrangements in pop, jazz and classical styles are rich and complex, and a major contribution to The Accidentals’ signature “orchestral” sound. Jim’s music has been played on television shows such as Las Vegas, Jag, Providence, and The Guiding Light, and has received radio airplay around the world. He has recorded and/or performed with such diverse artists as Joy Askew, Richard Barone, Randy Brecker, The Chordettes, Petula Clark, Julie Gold, David Johansen (a.k.a. Buster Poindexter), Christine Lavin, Peter Link, Gary Lucas, Karen Mason, Vernon Reid, The Roches, Jane Siberry, Ronnie Spector, Ben Vereen – and recently, on the East Village Opera Company’s Grammy-nominated CD, “Olde School.” Early on, working as a vocal coach, music director, arranger and pianist, Jim played the great old clubs The Village Gate, Catch a Rising Star, The Comic Strip, and The Improv. A native of Rochester, New Hampshire, he earned a B.A. in music from the University of New Hampshire, where he studied music history, composition, and choral technique & conducting.
Emily Bindiger
Emily Bindiger is a NY singer who has performed on hundreds of recordings, including commercials, movie soundtracks, industrials and records, as well as concert stages worldwide. She started out as a teenager playing clubs in Greenwich Village, then moved to France at 16 where she performed in musicals and on TV and released an album of original songs. She made her Broadway debut in “Shenandoah,” immediately followed by the revival of “Hair,” and for seven seasons she starred as “Frannie” on the Peabody Award-winning children’s TV show, “The Great Space Coaster.” Emily has recorded and/or performed with such diverse artists as Leonard Cohen, Buster Poindexter, Ann Hampton Callaway, Joan Osborne, Lou Reed, Steve Van Zandt, Oscar Brand, Mary Fahl, Andy LaVerne, The Klezmatics, Peter White, Kevin Mahogany, Deodato, Michael Amante, Lesley Gore, Kathie Lee Gifford, David Friedman, Christine Lavin, Ben Vereen, Bobby Caldwell, Black 47, Laurie Beechman, Patti Austin, Ronnie Spector, Catherine Russell, Julie Gold, and the legendary Neil Sedaka, with whom she toured for several years.
Dennis Deal
Dennis Deal is most widely known for his 50’s musical sendup Nite Club CONFIDENTIAL, which he wrote and directed Off Broadway, on London’s West End, and in L.A. Los Angeles Magazine said the show had “… Harmonies so cool you’d better wear mink!” and Theater Week Magazine labeled the show “the camp masterpiece of the cabaret musical genre. Dennis has produced and arranged a CD for Manhattan Transfer’s Cheryl Bentyne. He has also had two movements of his New England Suite premiered by the New Haven Symphony. He has arranged for a wide range of top performers, including Nell Carter, Johnny Cash, Elaine Stritch, Chita Rivera, Mimi Hines, Barbara Eden, Helen O’Connell and Eddy Arnold.

Bill Mitchell
Bill Mitchell is not only an Accidental co-founder, and all-around super-fine musician, writer, and arranger, he’s a great Landscape Architect, too. He escaped from darkest New Jersey years ago but now he’s back. Meanwhile, he became vice-president of an Italian jewelry importing firm, did fund raising for the New York City Ballet, and then computer systems for a very large and boring international corporation. He created beautiful gardens in the Tri-State area. Among his other peculiarities he is afflicted with a genetic abnormality that prompts him to remember musical pitches long after they have ceased to be sounded. This trait is of no earthly use except to an a cappella singer. He is currently adding his generous starlight to the sunny French Riviera.
Marcia Pelletiere
Marcia Pelletiere is a poet, singer/composer, and interdisciplinary artist. Her most recent projects are her solo CD Dream of Change (Saf’lini Music), and her poetry collection A Crown of Hornets, (Four Way Books), which has an accompanying audio collection with original music and spoken word. Previous works include her first poetry book Miracle with Roasted Hens and her double CD set, Little Noises, which includes her poems set to music by over 25 musicians. Marcia is a co-founding member of the New York City a cappella group The Accidentals and has been a teaching artist at various colleges and arts organizations. She has also offered presentations on the healing power of creativity at universities and medical centers. Marcia currently lives in New Jersey.
